On Friday, the private plane chartered by Jennifer Aniston made an emergency landing.
The Gulfstream G4 lost a wheel on takeoff. The pilots burned fuel for three hours before approaching the runway with a missing wheel. Fuel tanks near empty reduce the risk of a fiery explosion.
The pilots chose a less populated airport outside of Los Angeles rather than return to Los Angeles International (LAX).
Aniston and her 11 guests, including Courteney Cox and Jimmy Kimmel’s wife, waited several hours on the tarmac. Eventually, a replacement private jet came to the rescue. It whisked them away for a long holiday weekend. They’re celebrating Jen turning 50. (TMZ)
