Michael Strahan says that he and Kelly Ripa don’t speak. To review, their relationship came to an end in 2016 when ABC moved him from “Live with Kelly and Michael” to “Good Morning America.” As you might recall, Ripa didn't show up to work for a week...and when she returned? She was very vocal about "respect and communication in the workplace."
Strahan was supposed to stay on for a few more months, but left quickly. As for the drama involving his departure, he says it taught him some important lessons, one in particular. “I learned through all that went down with that," he notes. "You can’t convince people to like you.”
And while he credits Kelly for teaching him the morning TV ropes, he also admits they’re not in touch, adding, “I haven’t spoken to her in a ling time." Of course, the NFL Hall of Famer has another TV-wife in his life now, as he's hosting “GMA Day” with Sara Haines.
