Now that Anne Hathaway is a mother, she’s not drinking for the next 18 years.
She revealed to Ellen DeGeneres the hangover that convinced her to go sober. Hathaway said on Monday in a taped interview (quote) “Matthew McConaughey and I drank the night away. The next day, I had to go to a meeting. I was stumbling with one eye open.”
Hathaway promised not to touch a drop of liquor while her son lives under her roof. She confessed to Ellen dropping her child off at school with a hangover (quote) “I quit drinking back in October -- for 18 years. I don’t totally love the way I do it. He really needs me in the mornings.” (Entertainment Tonight)
