Betty White celebrated her 97th birthday yesterday. According to her rep, she feels great, loves to work, and is still getting offers.
And when the “Golden Girl” isn’t working, she’s hanging out with her close friends. “In [the] evening, Betty is playing poker with friends that she has played with for decades,” her rep noted. At this point, Betty only has one wish – to work with Robert Redford. She wants him to call....not word if he did.
Still, she received what is probably the wish of many others: a birthday greeting from Ryan Reynolds. Taking to Instagram he offered, "I don’t usually wish ex-girlfriends Happy Birthday. But Betty’s special. Happy Birthday to the one and only, @bettymwhite" He included a snap of the pair on a talk show. See it below.
