Chris Hansen, the Dateline NBC journalist who hosted To Catch a Predator -- in which he staged sting operations to catch potential sexual predators -- was the one who ended up in a pair of handcuffs this week.
The 59-year-old was arrested in Connecticut on Monday for bouncing checks. Police say Hansen purchased $13,000 worth of promotional items for an event he planned to attend, but never paid the bill.
After his first check bounced, the vendor threatened to call the police but held off when he received a second check. But that one bounced, too, so police were called and an arrest warrant was issued. Hansen turned himself in and was charged with larceny. (TMZ)
