What You Didn't See on the Golden Globes

The 76th annual Golden Globes is now in the history books. We all saw the broadcast, but here are some of the things you didn’t see:

  • Taraji P. Henson lost her ring as she was leaving the kudofest. When she discovered it, she started screaming, “Oh my God, oh my God! No one move! No one move! My ring! My ring!” She was desperately searching the ground when Terry Crews came to her rescue. He got on his knees to look for the bling – and found it. “You know Taraji! She is the best,” Terry noted. “I’d do anything for her.”
  • You could say that Denzel Washington had a kind of #MeToo moment on the red carpet. A fan came up to the Oscar winner to take a picture with him. Instead of waiting for consent, he proceeded to put his arm around the actor to pose. “Did I say yes?” Washington said. “When you ask someone for a picture, you wait for them to say yes.”
  • Kieran Culkin was nominated in the Supporting Actor in a Series, Miniseries, or Motion Picture made for Television. His brother, Macauley Culkin, took the opportunity to troll him on Twitter. The “Home Alone” star said, “HOLY [ISH] KIERAN IS NOMINATED??? WHAT IS SUCCESSION?! Man, I should really answer his calls more often. Thanksgiving is going to be really awkward this year #GoldenGlobes.” But when Kieran lost out to Ben Whishaw of “A Very English Scandal,” the big brother in Macauley attempted to make it right with, “This show is rigged!! I was totally pulling for [Henry] Winkler. (No one tell Keiran he didn’t win).”
  • Melissa McCarthy may well be the hero of the night. Even though dinner was served, celebs working the red carpet weren’t able to partake. That’s why she brought 40 ham and cheese sandwiches with her to the show. “I’ve been handing them out to everyone,” she said. “Next year, I’m bringing hot dogs.”
