Kevin Spacey lost his job playing the president of the United States on the Netflix series House of Cards over accusations of sexual misconduct last year, but there were no legal charges brought against him. That changed on Monday, when a D.A. in Massachusetts announced that Spacey will be arraigned for indecent assault and battery on January 7th.
The incident for which Spacey will be charged occurred in the summer of 2016, when the two-time Oscar-winner allegedly plied an 18-year-old busboy in a Nantucket restaurant with drinks and then unzipped his pants and fondled his genitals.
Following that news, Spacey tweeted out a bizarre three-minute video called Let Me Be Frank in which, using the Southern accent and demeanor of his TV character, Francis Underwood, he says, "I told you my deepest, darkest secrets. I showed you exactly what people are capable of. I shocked you with my honestly, but mostly I challenged you and made you think. And you trusted me, even though you knew you shouldn't. So we're not done... I know what you want. You want me back."
He ends the clip by suggesting that his character didn't actually die on the last season of the series.
