The Spice Girls reunion might have suffered a big setback over the weekend -- when Mel B took a fall that left her with some gruesome-sounding injuries.
According to TMZ, Mel ended up in an emergency room after breaking several ribs and apparently severing her right hand in the accident, which took place at a friend's home in London. The photo she shared showed a heavily bandaged arm in a sling, so it isn't clear if surgeons were able to reattach the hand, or if it was completely cut off to begin with.
Mel's rep says she was asleep in an upstairs bedroom when she woke up and decided to go downstairs, but lost her footing and fell. The publicist says no drugs or alcohol were involved.
