Don't Think About Driving: FEET of Snow Set to Hit VA

In their morning update, the National Weather Service has raised snow expectations in Virginia.  Many places can now expect a foot or more.  Snow began falling shortly after midnight and is expected to continue into the evening, perhaps ending by midnight.

Roanoke, The NRV and areas south: 10-20 inches 

Lynchburg area: 8-16 inches

North of Roanoke and Lynchburg: 6-10 inches

Charlottesville: 4-8 inches

Harrisonburg: 1-3 inches

Fredericksburg: 1-2 inches

Winchester: Flurries

Richmond: 3-7 inches
