Perry spent over $432 thousand dollars to pay off the layaways of almost 15-hundred people at Wal-Marts in Atlanta and Douglasville yesterday. While he was trying to do it anonymously, he ended up sharing the news on Twitter.
All the people had to do was pay a penny to pick up their stuff. “I know it's hard times. A lot of people are struggling and I'm just really, really grateful to be able to be in a position to do this. So God bless you, go get your stuff, and Merry Christmas."
