People magazine published the exclusive photos from the Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra weddings. They had two ceremonies. A Western-style tying of the knot on Saturday followed by a traditional Hindi event on Sunday.
Priyanka went next level with her bridal wardrobe. Ralph Lauren designed her hand-beaded and hand-embroidered gown that featured nearly 3 million mother of pearl sequins. He’d created only three wedding dresses, each for close relatives, before Priyanka’s.
She walked down the aisle wearing a tulle [pr: tool] veil that was 75-feet long. It required five men to haul the veil behind Priyanka. She told People magazine, (quote) “Every girl dreams of being a princess on her wedding day.” Mission accomplished.
- Ralph Lauren said they took nearly 2,000 hours to hand-embroider Priyanka’s dress.
- She would’ve been married sooner but needed to wait on the gown to be finished.
- Her 75-foot long veil represented the 75 days between their first date and Nick popping the question in July.
