WATCH: Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas Get Married

It’s official – Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas tied the knot over the weekend! And what a wedding it was – over four days, the couple celebrated their love with a mix of traditional Indian and Western ceremonies with Nick’s brothers, Kevin and Joe, Joe’s fiancée Sophie Turner, Lupita Nyong’o, Kelly Ripa and more stars in attendance. Here’s what happened:

  • One of the many pre-wedding rituals planned over the weekend was the mehendi ceremony, which Priyanka said on Instagram is “an important part of the pre wedding rituals for the girl in an Indian wedding.” All of the women gather to have their hands painted with henna. In a picture, Nick can be seen joining in the fun, too. “One of the most special things our relationship has given us is a merging of families who love and respect each other’s faith and cultures,” Priyanka writes in the caption.
  • On Friday, the star couple hosted the Sangeet, a traditional pre-wedding celebration with dancing and music. In a video posted to Priyanka’s Instagram, their friends and family, including the groom, can be seen on stage telling the couple’s love story through song and dance. “It all began as a fierce song & dance competition between the families but ended, as always, as a huge celebration of love,” Priyanka says in the caption.
  • On Saturday, the two finally walked down the aisle for a western-style Christian wedding ceremony, with Nick’s father reportedly officiating.
  • On Sunday, the two said “I do” again for a traditional Indian ceremony. According to the Hindustan Times, Nick wore a bandhgala suit with a turban and a sword, making his entrance on horseback.

It sounds like Priyanka really meant it when she told Vogue guests would “need vacations” after their massive wedding. And by the way? They booked Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur for the whole thing – India’s last standing palace, an absolutely stunning location. Check out the posts below.
