“This Is Us” star Chrissy Metz’s home in Los Angeles, California was reportedly broken into Monday night. According to authorities, the burglary happened at around 8 p.m.
Metz’s assistant was apparently the one who discovered the break-in. She had reportedly come to the house because an alarm went off, and realized that someone had indeed been inside. Sources say the thief entered by smashing through the actress’ back bedroom window and got away with a few purses.
Luckily, Chrissy wasn’t there at the time of the break-in. She was safe and sound in New York City for her appearance on the “Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.” Word is she returned to Los Angeles yesterday to fill out an official report.
