Pete Davidson Breaks Silence on Breakup with Ariana

Pete Davidson finally broke his silence following his split with Ariana Grande. After cancelling a performance in Philadelphia last week, he appeared as scheduled at the Judd & Pete for America – A Benefit to Swing Left event over the weekend in Los Angeles.

Judd Apatow opened the show with a solo comedy set, followed by Tig Notaro, and Benmont Tench. The Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers co-founder did a rendition of “American Girl” before Pete came up. He said, “Who the [freak] wants to follow that? Am I not going through enough that I have to [freaking] follow that?”

The “Saturday Night Live” star further addressed his breakup by asking if anyone needed a roommate and talking about his tattoos. “I’m [freaking] 0-for-two in the tattoo department,” he said. “Yeah, I’m afraid to get my mom tattooed on me because she’d leave.” He and Ariana broke up last week.
