Kanye West will meet with President Donald Trump Thursday.
According to the White House, Kanye wants to discuss ways to improve opportunities in his hometown, including a request for more manufacturing jobs in the Chicago area. He will also lobby the President to promote leniency for those who find it difficult getting hired because job applications ask about criminal records.
Kanye tweeted to Colin Kaepernick about a summit with President Trump. That’s not on the docket for Thursday, but you can bet that Kanye will approach the idea that Kaepernick and Trump ought to bury the hatchet. (The New York Times)
