Taylor Swift is about to return to her roots as an opening act -- as the first performer at the American Music Awards.
Tay will launch the show by singing "I Did Something Bad," from her Reputation album. She'll also get a chance to test out her surprise face when she competes for Artist of the Year alongside Drake, Ed Sheeran, Imagine Dragons and Post Malone.
Since Kanye is back on the loopy path, producers had better keep him far away from the stage with her performing.
The American Music Awards will air live on ABC on October 9th.
