WATCH: Kanye's Pro-Trump Speech that Didn't Make It on SNL

Kanye West was the musical guest on the premiere of the 44th season of Saturday Night Live over the weekend and it has just about everyone talking about it. Kanye was asked to perform just recently after Ariana Grande had backed out of the show.

Kanye started off a social media firestorm when he performed "I Love It" with guest Lil Pump dressed as a bottle of Perrier. Then when his performance wrapped up, Kanye stayed on stage wearing a red “Make America Great Again” hat, even after he was supposedly told not to and delivered a pro-Trump speech.  The speech didn't make it over the air and was met with a mixture of booing and cheering from the audience.  Cast members stood behind him, stone-faced and looking at the ground.

President Trump tweeted out his support of Kanye's performance and blasted Saturday Night Live.  “I don’t watch Saturday Night Live (even though I past hosted it),” he wrote. “No longer funny, no talent or charm. It is just a political ad for the Dems.”  He added, “Word is that Kanye West, who put on a MAGA hat after the show (despite being told ‘no’), was great. He’s leading the charge!”

Just another weekend with Kanye.
