Tropical Storm Warning is in effect until further notice for all of Hampton Roads.
We'll have heavy rain showers and thunderstorms through Friday night. Winds are forecast to be between 20 and 30mph, gusts will be occasionally 45mph or greater. Rain totals could be between 2 and 4 inches with locally higher amounts. That could cause some flooding as well as the storm surge for coastal areas predicted to be 1-3feet.
VDOT says they have no plans to suspend bridge or tunnel service at this time.
