When dogs are bored, they may chew on furniture, have accidents in the house, or act out, but it doesn’t have to be that way. By simply leaving your best friend with something to do, you’ll make them happy. These tips hold true for when you’re home too.
Here are some ideas:
- Don’t skip the walk. Make it for right before you leave to tire them out a bit.
- Get some new puppy toys. There are plenty to keep them busy when you’re gone!
- Don’t lock them in a crate for periods of it,
- Set play time aside.
- Keep their alone time to a minimum.
