The First Virgin Bachelor

The "fantasy suite" episodes of this season of the Bachelor will be filled with lots of...um...conversation?

You may recall the recent rumblings about Colton Underwood being the next “Bachelor.” Well, the rumors are true. ABC has finally announced that the virginal “Bachelorette” alum will be handing out roses next year.

Talking to Michael Strahan on “Good Morning America,” Colton says he has no regrets about his time with the franchise so far. But, he’s definitely looking forward to finally finding true love for his turn on the “Bachelor,” which premieres on ABC in 2019.

“I’m very excited. Third time’s the charm, that’s what they say, right?” he notes. “That’s what I’m hoping for!”

  • Colton also let fans know that they shouldn’t expect an appearance from his ex (and last season’s “Bachelorette” Becca Kufrin’s friend) Tia Booth. The two have reunited on the current season of “Bachelor in Paradise,” but broke up again during a recent episode. “We are finally on the same page for the first time in our relationship,” he adds. "And we are just good friends."
