Knowing she had found her true love, Jesse Tober wanted to seal the deal by asking her boyfriend to marry her. The couple had a trip planned to their favorite place, Disneyland, and she thought it would be the perfect setting to pop the question. So while getting their photo taken in front of the castle, she pulled out an engagement ring. And so did her boyfriend, Kasey Donovan.
Yes, they both proposed at the very same moment. Actually, when Jesse pulled out the ring to ask Kasey, he laughed and said, “Are you kidding me?!” and then reached into his bag and pulled out an engagement ring for her. Lots of hugs, tears, and “yeses” followed.
The bride-to-be tweeted a video captured of the magical moment that happened at the “happiest place on Earth” and the Internet fell in love, too. Jesse says she was planning her proposal for three months and Kasey has been working on his for a month. Extra points to him for giving his future wife an official Disney ring from the Enchanted Disney Jewelry Collection inspired by Ariel, “The Little Mermaid.”
The crazy double proposal doesn’t really even surprise the newly engaged couple. “We’re just so in sync as a couple,” Jesse says. “I don’t know how to explain it, it almost seems normal that we both did this.”
The happy couple says their dream, “if they have enough money” is to tie the knot at Disney. Maybe a Fairy Godmother can pull some strings to make it happen for them. Are you listening, Disney?
