Ed Sheeran met young Melody Driscoll in 2016. She was suffering from a condition known as Rett Syndrome which affects brain development so she was unable to walk and talk. Ed got a chance to visit her in the hospital and serenade his superfan.
She passed away July 3 in her parents arms at age 11.
