That Doesn't Go There...

I can't believe I live in a world where I'm reporting a story like this, yet here we are...

A 13-year-old boy from China was curious about his genitalia as most are, and to settle that curiosity, he inserted a USB cable 20 centimeters through his urethra. If that wasn't painful enough, after trying to pull out the cable, he realized it was stuck.

In the hospital, medical practitioners lubricated the cable and attempted to extract it, but were unsuccessful causing significant pain to the unnamed teenager.

Per Dr. Xu Liyan, “The cable reached his bladder, where it tangled and ended up in a knot, so when he tried to pull it back out, it became stuck.” Dr Xu and her team had to cut the knot, and then remove part of it through the surgical incision.

After a two week stay in the hospital, the boy was discharged a few days ago

What can this teen and the human population as a whole take away from this story? USB cables DO NOT belong in your body!
