Blac Chyna's Assistant Dies, Family To File Wrongful Death Suit Against Her

Blac Chyna's assistant, Lorena "Patty" Hernandez, has reportedly died after being taken off of life support earlier this week.

The Blast reports that Hernandez passed away on Wednesday (May 16), but was pronounced brain dead on Monday (May 14) after she suffered from a third brain bleed. It was at this point that her family decided to take Hernandez off of life support.

"Patty suffered a brain hemorrhage back in January at Blac Chyna’s Salon in Encino," The Blast reads. "She was rushed to the hospital and stabilized, but unfortunately fell into a coma afterwards. Patty had been showing signs of improvement over the months, and had even been breathing on her own for a short time, but unfortunately her conditioned rapidly worsened and she never recovered."

After Hernandez had a brain hemorrhage last year, Chyna's ex-boyfriends Tyga and Rob Kardashian each donated $5,000 to her GoFundMe page. Chyna would also donated $10,000. Hernandez's family is now planning to file a wrongful death lawsuit against Chyna. They're claiming that the socialite abused their late family member and didn't provide her with worker’s compensation.

Hernandez's organs will be donated. She's survived by her husband and her three kids: Nathan, 13; Raul, 12; and Madison, 7. RIP.
