NAVSTA Norfolk 2017 Fleet Fest

Saturday, October 21  •  11 a.m. to 8 p.m.  •  Located at Pier 14 & Q Area

In looking toward the future, Naval Station Norfolk will offer a modern-day Fleet Fest to begin the start of the next 100 years. An event for the entire family, Fleet Fest will offer ship tours, static aircraft displays, children’s entertainment area, military demonstration, chili cook-off, car show, beer garden, food trucks, concessions, concert and a grand finally fireworks show. Join us as Fleet Fest offers a day full of festivities to show appreciation to our service members and their families.

8 a.m. to 9 a.m., Chili Cook-off Set-up: Fire & Preventative Maintenance Screening

9 a.m. to 10 a.m., Car Show Contestants Arrive, Food Truck & Breweries Set-Up

9 a.m., Chili-Cook-Off Begins

11 a.m., Fleet Fest Begins (Fleet Fest Gates Open for General Public)

11 a.m., Ship Tours Begin

Noon, Chili Cook-Off Judging Begins

1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Neon Trees

4 p.m., Car Show Judging Begins

5 p.m., Ship Tours End

5 p.m., Fleet Fest Ends & Concert Site Opens

5:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Announce Car Show, Brewery and Chili Cook-off Award Winners

6 p.m., Opening Act

7 p.m., Main Act

8:30 p.m., Fireworks Show
