There are disco balls all around the world that are playing Katy Perry's new song. She announced the news that you could hear "Chained to the Rhythm" with earbuds plugged into these sparkly disco balls in places like Brooklyn, LA, Argentina, Austrailia, Japan, Germany and many other cities and countries. It will officially be released tomorrow, but feel free to search if you can't wait that long.
It's been 15 yeas since Justin Timberlake left 'N SYNC and he never really made waves with the rest of the group publicly so that's why it's interesting that he's calling them out a little in a new interview. Justin was talking to the "Hollywood Reporter" about the split. They never officially broke up, they just announced a "hiatus" in 2002, but outside of a few one-off reunions, that was the end. And he said, "We were on a stadium tour, and I just felt like the whole thing was too big. It started as a fun snowball fight that was becoming an avalanche. "And, also, I was growing out of it. I felt like I cared more about the music than some of the other people in the group. And I felt like I had other music I wanted to make, and that I needed to follow my heart." He didn't name any names, but the other guys might not appreciate that. Although, Justin isn't really saying that the others weren't pulling their weight, maybe he just wanted to break out of the boy band mold, and some of the others didn't. He also apologized for the band's bad outfits.
The Kardashian family agrees that Kourtney is the smartest in the bunch. Just to prove it, ten days ago in Costa Rico, she rejected Scott Disick’s marriage proposal. Scott was detoxing from several days of partying at the Sundance Film Festival. He arrived unannounced to the family vacation. Scott brought with him a random woman. Then when he proposed, he didn’t even have a ring. He was unprepared and totally unromantic. He shoulda known he was going to get shot down. Somebody who was there revealed (quote) “Kourtney is over being with him. She said no. Scott was embarrassed, upset and angry.” His immediate response was to jet to Miami and hookup with models at the hotel pool. Just to rub it Kourtney’s face that he can get any woman he wants.
Jason DeRulo said he was discriminated against by American Airlines after an incident last night. There was a disagreement about how much DeRulo and his entourage would be charged to check extra bags, which resulted in the police being called. DeRulo described it as a nasty confrontation...until they realized who he was: “If I wasn’t Jason Derulo, I wouldn’t be here right now, I’d be in cuffs. It’s 100 percent racial, because the initial thought in people’s minds is ‘these hoodlums are causing problems.'” WARNING: This video includes some FOUL LANGUAGE!! Earmuffs!!
