Ben Affleck had a little slip in his sobriety at a Halloween party over the weekend. The next morning, TMZ caught him outside his ex Jennifer Garner’s house, where he told the paparazzi he wouldn’t let the lapse derail his recovery.
Even amid their divorce, Garner has reportedly been right there for her ex-hubs throughout his recovery process. Sources tell Us Weekly that she’s “upset” about his Halloween slip up, but is “always supportive” of the ups and downs of his journey.
In fact, another source reveals that the reason Affleck was at her house the next morning was at least in part to meet with her about his recovery. Apparently, his sober coach had “came over earlier” that day.
If you’re wondering who was with Ben at that Halloween party...the actor’s new boo is musician Katie Cherry. Remember when we told you Affleck was spotted on the dating app Raya? That’s where they reportedly linked up “a few months ago.” For now, a source says it’s “nothing that serious.”
