Lori Loughlin and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, have been hit with a new charge in the college admissions scandal.
Along with all the other parents who have pleaded not guilty, the couple have been slapped with an additional charge of conspiracy to commit federal program bribery. It carries a maximum five-year prison sentence. Lori and Mossimo have already been charged with several crimes that could land them behind bars for 40 years.
The two are accused of paying $500,000 to get their daughters into USC.
The U.S. Attorney may be hoping to force the parents to take a plea deal.
Lori and Mossimo have vowed to fight all charges.
If Lori got only 14 days in prison she could have ended this all quickly and gotten on with her life.
As Lori Loughlin and her husband Mossimo Giannulli wait to learn their fate for their role in the college admissions scandal, USC is confirming that their daughters are no longer enrolled there.
The university registrar released a statement saying Olivia Jade and Isabella Giannulli, who were accepted to USC as a result of their parents paying $500,000 in bribe money, were no longer students at the university, but gave no other details.
