Jake Gyllenhaal was spotted in NYC last week rescuing a giant Dalmatian from a busy intersection.
The dog was reportedly "stranded" in the middle of the street after it got away from its owner.
It wasn’t long before the Gyllenhaal jumped in front of oncoming traffic to slow it down, so that the dog could get across safely.
The dog was on a leash but its owner was described as "too small to control the big dog."
