Angelina Jolie and Michelle Pfeiffer are both renowned actresses and proud mothers, and they star together in the new Disney sequel Maleficent: Mistress of Evil.
In an interview along with their young co-star Elle Fanning, they spoke about what it's like to watch their children grow up as they get older.
“It’s a push and pull, because I do think a part of you feels like you’re losing literally a part of your body, but you know at the same time what you really want for your children is for them to be independent,” Pfeiffer says.
The actresses also bonded over their shared experiences in Hollywood, and commended Fanning on her "joyful" and humble personality at such a young age.
