Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande continued their year-long hot streaks today -- with 10 nominations apiece from MTV's Video Music Awards committee.
The ladies will do battle in all the major categories, including Video of the Year and Song of the Year -- for "You Need to Calm Down" and "Thank U, Next," respectively. A pair of newer names could also clean up at the ceremony -- Billie Eilish snagged nine noms, and out-of-nowhere superstar Lil Nas X notched eight.
This year’s VMAs, hosted by Sebastian Maniscalco, will air live on August 26th.
