Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are getting nitpicked by Royal watchers again. The couple wished Prince George a happy sixth birthday yesterday, sparking complaints from fans over the simple gesture.
It all started when Kate Middleton and Prince William posted tributes to Prince George on their Instagram account. On one of the posts, Meghan and Harry’s Sussex Royal account has commented, “Happy birthday, wishing you a very special day and lots of love!” That was enough to enrage some Royal watchers, who think that the couple should show the “future king” a little more “respect” by using the honorifics “His Royal Highness.”
Some fans are dogging the two for being the only Royal social media account that didn’t include “His Royal Highness” or at least “Prince George” in their comment. But others are telling people to cool it, pointing out that Meghan and Harry are Prince George’s aunt and uncle.
