Back in May, surprising news broke in the horror world that comedian Chris Rock would be reviving the SAW franchise with a new spinoff film.
Now, it's just been confirmed by Bloody Disgusting that Chris will also be starring in the film - along with Samuel L. Jackson!
Filming will apparently begin this week, so more casting news and plot details should follow in the weeks to come.
The untitled spinoff currently has a release date of October 23, 2020.
UPDATE: Max Minghella (Horns, The Darkest Hour) and Marisol Nichols (Riverdale) have also been confirmed as part of the cast.
