Tree that inspired Dr. Seuss The Lorax dies

You've read the books (or need too) and you've seen the movie. DO NOT SHARE THIS story with you kids. The Tree, a Monterey Cypress tree at Ellen Browning Scripps Park in La Jolla, California fell last week. It is rumored to be the tree that Ted Geisel aka. Dr Seuss stared at while writing hits like "The Cat in the Hat" and "Green Eggs and Ham". Its the droopy tree that is in ALL of his books. It's between 80-100 years young.
