Britney Spears' mother Lynne demanded an emergency hearing today (Wednesday) to 'gain access to her daughter's medical information and treatment plan.'
Lynne Spears wants to step in and manage the 'dire' situation since Britney's conservator father Jamie is too ill, according to TMZ.
Spears reportedly can't wait for the hearing already scheduled for this Friday to sort out what's going on with Britney, who recently completed a 30-day stay at a mental health facility.
This after Britney (who suffers from bipolar disorder) wrote that she was feeling 'strong' on April 23rd to calm her social media followers. Those same fans had begun a #freebritney movement as they feared she was being held against her will.
'Britney is making bad decisions and it's a problem,' a source tells TMZ. 'Her meds stopped working and doctors have been unable to find the right combination of drugs.'
Spears has been under court-ordered permanent conservatorship of her father Jamie and attorney Andrew Wallet since being put on 5150 involuntary psychiatric hold in 2008.
