*** SPOILERS AHEAD, OBVIOUSLY ***
Game of Thrones fans were treated to an unusually pleasant episode of the show this week, as the characters are preparing for the long-awaited battle in Winterfell against the White Walkers and their army of wights.
Sansa and Danaerys had a little bonding moment, Brienne was knighted by Jaime, a bunch of the characters got drunk together, Theon returned to Winterfell to fight and redeem himself, and Arya finally had her "first time" with Gendry.
But there's one detail that was mentioned multiple times throughout the episode that's making people nervous...
The women and children of Winterfell are going to be staying down in the crypts during the battle.
This is potentially THE WORST plan - considering that the White Walkers have the ability to turn dead people into their own army of wights.
The fact that people are being "kept safe" in the crypts during the battle was mentioned at least 3 different times - by Jon, Gilly, and Sam.
And it's that repetition that's a huge red flag to some fans.
So, the basic theory is that the next episode will feature the White Walkers not only invading Winterfell, but making their way into the crypts and reanimating the corpses into an army of wights (and killing all of the women and children who are trying to stay "safe" in the process).
Seems pretty plausible considering the evidence...
