The Jonas Brothers had a fun time looking back at old videos for a recent Capital FM segment of “Throwin’ It Back.” In the clip the siblings look back at old video footage from throughout their career, with the band joking that they should get some credit for the popularity of sites like YouTube and Instagram.
“This is an interesting time where like this was before Instagram videos or YouTubes or Vines were created,” Nick says. “We were pioneers,” withJoe adding, “We’re the reason YouTube is even a thing, really. You’re welcome YouTube, and Vine and Instagram.”
Among the clips shown is the 2008 video of Joe in a leotard sharing his take on Beyonce’s“Single Ladies.” The group says at the time their label said the clip would be “career suicide," but instead it quickly went viral
