When your movie earns eight Oscar nominations, you must’ve done something right. However, Bradley Cooper felt like he didn’t do enough when he failed to get a nod in the Best Director category.
“The first thing I felt was embarrassment, actually,” Cooper told Oprah Winfrey . “I felt embarrassed that I didn’t do my part.” The film was earned nods for Best Picture as well as Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Actress for himself, Sam Elliott , and Lady Gaga , respectively.
Bradley and Oprah were taping an interview for her “Super Soul Conversations” TV special that’ll air on February 16 th on OWN.
