If you were still holding to hope for Kevin Hart to host the Oscars, he completely obliterated it yesterday. During his appearance on Good Morning America, he told Michael Strahan, “I’m not hosting the Oscars this year…Right now I don’t have the time.”
As for the controversy that caused the diminutive comedian to step down, he’s over that, too. “It gets no more energy from me.” Even though Strahan continued to press him, Hart was NOT having it. “I have explained how I’ve evolved, which makes me say I’m over it. I’m not saying how I’ve changed anymore … I’m not giving no more explanation of who I am. I’ve done it. I’ve done it several times … I’m just done.”
For the record, the homophobic tweets and routines took place over ten years ago.
