Summer Is A Big Time For Cheaters

If your fear of your significant other cheating on you has ever increased during the summer, well you have a reason for that fear.

According to a report by the cheaters dating site Ashley Madison, people are most likely to cheat on their partners during the summer. The site, where married folks go to look for a hookup, says they see a huge uptick in signups over the summer months, particularly July.

As for why this may be happening, Tammy Nelson, a sex and relationship therapist, suggests you can blame the sun. “Increased levels of serotonin are associated with more exposure to sunshine, ultimately allowing people to feel happier,” she says. “With more sun exposure in the summer people will feel happier, more confident, and this could help kickstart someone’s decision to start an extramarital affair, allowing them to feel better about the decision.”

The solution? Make your place of living as dark as possible so your significant other NEVER has confidence... or trust your significant other. Either plan works.
