Alex Trebek is using his fight against pancreatic cancer to raise awareness of the disease and encourage people to look out for early warning signs.
The Jeopardy host teamed up with the World Pancreatic Cancer Coalition for a new public service announcement.
“I wished I had known sooner that the persistent stomach pain I experienced before my diagnosis was a symptom of pancreatic cancer," he says.
Trebek is also asking everyone to wear purple on November 21st for World Pancreatic Cancer Day.
