President Trump Goes to Battle with Sweden over A$AP Rocky

For better or worse, Donald Trump has A$AP Rocky’s back.

The President tweeted support for the Harlem rapper for the second time in less than a week yesterday (Thursday). Shortly after 5 p.m. he wrote, “Very disappointed in Prime Minister Stefan Löfven for being unable to act. Sweden has let our African American Community down in the United States. I watched the tapes of A$AP Rocky, and he was being followed and harassed by troublemakers. Treat Americans fairly!”

A follow-up tweet said, “Give A$AP Rocky his FREEDOM. We do so much for Sweden but it doesn’t seem to work the other way around. Sweden should focus on its real crime problem!” He ended with the hashtag #FreeRocky.

Rocky is incarcerated in Sweden, awaiting an assault trial set to begin next week. The prosecutor has indicated they are seeking less than a full two-year sentence.
