Meghan Markle Celebrates Her First Mother's Day

Meghan Markle celebrated her first-ever Mother’s Day yesterday! Her son, Archie, may not have been born in time for Mother’s Day in the United Kingdom (that was back on March 22nd), but Sunday was Mother’s Day elsewhere...including her homeland, the United States.

For starters, what better way to spend the holiday than with her own mom, Doria Ragland? Word is that Meghan, Doria and Prince Harry spent the day at their new home of Frogmore Cottage in Windsor – and it’s all love. “[Doria] and Meghan are so close...Harry really gets on well with her too," says a source. "Any new mom wants her own mom around this time, so it’s great."

The Sussex Royal Instagram account also paid tribute to Mothers yesterday. Captioning a sweet picture of Archie’s feet above a bed of 'forget me not' flowers (a favorite of the late Princess Diana) the couple writes, “Paying tribute to all mothers today – past, present, mothers-to-be, and those lost but forever remembered. We honor and celebrate each and every one of you.”
