Whoops! Lori Loughlin Thought Prosecutors Were Bluffing

Everyone's been comparing the situations between Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin. Specifically, how Huffman threw herself on a sword and is likely to get very little jail time - and how Loughlin is now facing 40-years. Turns out, Loughlin didn't jump at the plea deal Huffman did...because according to sources, she thought prosecutors were bluffing about the whole "behind bars" thing.

“She has been in complete denial," says a snitch. "And thought maybe she could skate by.” Word is that Aunt Becky was adamant about no jail time (we get it), and was willing to roll the dice (we don't get it).

But now that the handwriting is on the wall, Loughlin’s reportedly beating herself up for not accepting the initial deal. The way the insider put it: “She is seeing the light that she will do jail time and is freaking out.” Now she and her husband and their legal team are taking things seriously.

·To review, while Huffman was shady and spent $15-grand to get her daughter's SAT scores 'fixed,' Loughlin and husband Mossimo Giannulliallegedly paid a $500-thousand to get their daughters, Isabella and Olivia, into the University of Southern California. While they were originally facing charges of conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud, they've now been slapped with a money laundering conspiracy charge. All in? Huffman is looking at a sentence of a less than a year in the clink. Loughlin? As much as 40 years.
