Adam Levine went shirtless at the end of the Super Bowl halftime show, and some fans are not pleased. Apparently, lots of folks took to social media to wonder why it was okay for Levine to show his nipples, but it wasn’t okay when Janet Jackson’s nipple was exposed during her infamous 2004 Super Bowl wardrobe malfunction.
Many were upset, noting Janet was practically “blackballed” following the performance, where Justin Timberlake ripped off the top of her shirt, exposing her nipple. CBS was even slapped with a $550,000 indecency fine over it.
