A week after a teen crashed her car while doing the Bird Box challenge, YouTube has clamped down on the dangerous stunt videos.
Inspired by the Netflix movie, the challenge has young people attempting to perform daily activities while blindfolded. Earlier this month, one girl took her Sandra Bullock impersonation a bit too far by driving her car with a hat over her eyes.
Today (Wednesday), YouTube announced that it will remove prank videos, like the Bird Box Challenge, “that cause children to experience severe emotional distress.”
