An Illinois police department is sharing a video of their embarrassing reaction to a squirrel coming into their station.
The McHenry Police Department posted the video on their Facebook page and it shows officers frantically trying to get the critter out before it entered the reception area. One cop even jumped on a chair to avoid the squirrel.
Their explanation for that move? "The officer isn't standing on the chair because he was scared, BTW. It's a police 'tactical approach.’”
The squirrel left the building without injury, but the department joked "Our officers on the other hand, they are seeking counseling."
