We’ve been keeping you up to date on Meghan Markle’s family drama. As you likely know, Meghan hasn’t made a peep about her estranged father, Thomas Markle, or half-sister Samantha Markle in months. And while you'd think that silence would is a Royal standard… a source is saying that she’s actually ignored advice from the Queen herself.
Speaking to “Good Morning Britain,” Thomas called on Queen Elizabeth II to help him heal the rift between him and Meghan. But a source tells Vanity Fair that she’s actually tried to intervene by suggesting someone “be proactive and make the situation go away,” since she “was very concerned that [the situation] was spiraling out of control." Meghan? She reportedly won’t listen and hence, has continued to zip her lip.
That’s reportedly caused some conflict between Palace courtiers, since the source says they’re getting mixed signals between Meghan and the Queen. “[Meghan] didn’t want to engage and thought that she could handle it on her own,” the source notes. “It just got to a point where it was stalemate and neither could move.”
