Maroon 5 Lands Travis Scott For Super Bowl

As we previously told you, reports claimed Maroon 5 was having trouble finding artists to join them for the Super Bowl halftime show, but it seems they’ve finally nailed someone down.  TMZ reports that rapper Travis Scott has agreed to perform with Adam Levine and the boys on February 3rd in Atlanta. According to Variety, they will also be joined by three more guest.

And Travis may not be the only special guest. Maroon 5 is still working on getting other artists, like Cardi B and OutKast’s Big Boi.

  • Meanwhile, sources also tell Variety that Jay-Z is actually trying to convince Travis not to perform. Jay has been openly critical of the NFL's treatment of Colin Kaepernick, and he and Rihanna are among the artists who reportedly turned down the halftime show because of it.
