Dear MTV...

Dear MTV,

I believe I am part of the demographic you are aiming for. I am a millennial woman that is also addicted to television. I grew up on you MTV. I grew up WITH you. I remember being eight years old watching MTV Spring Break and saying to my mom, "Mommy, when I'm older I'M going to be on MTV Spring Break." I remember having a goal to be on The Real World one day. MTV I loved you. You were there for me when no one else was. But...

We need to have a talk. I have questions MTV. Your programming for the past few years have been very suspect to me but I let it go because of my love for you.  I let it go when 16 and Pregnant turned into Teen Mom. I let it go when The Real World started adding gimmicks. I stayed when you introduced Jersey Shore, honestly because that show is entertaining and I found it funny. I even let it go when you gave Rob Dyrdek A THOUSAND SHOWS! I LET ALL THAT PASS BECAUSE I LOVE YOU MTV. But...

What is this new show MTV? What is this tattoo show you're trying to pass off? I read the premise of this show, "The tables are turned when participants' tattoo designs are in the hands of friends, family and lovers on How Far Is Tattoo Far?". What is this MTV? WHAT IS THIS?!?

MTV, I don't think I can do this anymore. I don't think I can stay in this relationship anymore. I can't keep torturing myself by putting you on and seeing questionable programming.

So good-bye for now MTV. Good-bye to all the good years we shared. Good-bye...
